The Tangier Med Port Authority reported a turnover of more than 3 billion dirhams by the end of September 2024, an 11% increase compared to the same period last year.
For the third quarter of the current year, turnover reached 968 million dirhams, a 6% rise compared to the end of September 2024, according to a statement from the Authority.
In addition, 103 million tons of goods were handled by the end of September 2024, marking a 12.5% increase, with 35 million tons processed during the third quarter of 2024, the source added.
Investments amounted to 5.5 billion dirhams (infrastructure, roadways, various networks, and information technology infrastructure).
Debts reached 9.5 billion dirhams, including 4.6 billion dirhams in bond loans, representing a 0.4% decrease compared to the end of 2023.
