Representatives of the Moroccan community in Switzerland reaffirmed their strong attachment to the Motherland and strong determination to contribute to the comprehensive development dynamic that the Kingdom is experiencing.
At a gathering held at the Moroccan residence in Switzerland, expatriates from all corners of the Swiss Confederation also reiterated their ongoing support for the King Mohammed VI in defending the Morocco’s just causes, foremost of which is the issue of territorial integrity.
Praising the unwavering ties between members of the diaspora to their home country, Morocco’s Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Lahcen Azoulay, urged the Moroccan community to maintain their long-term mobilization by investing in Morocco and contributing their expertise to the Kingdom’s development efforts.
The diplomat assured the community that the embassy’s services were fully mobilized to listen, advise and assist them, stressing the importance of enrolling in consular records in order to facilitate their identification and protect their rights.
In this meeting commemorating the 49th anniversary of the glorious Green March, Azoulay highlighted that a significant portion of the Royal speech delivered by His Majesty the King was dedicated to Moroccan expatriates. The Sovereign also announced the restructuring of the institutional framework dedicated to managing the affairs of this community, which reflects HM the King’s continuous care for His loyal subjects living abroad.
