Morocco’s CDG, Germany’s KfW to bolster cooperation

As part of a new session of the strategic dialogue between the two financial institutions, Morocco’s Deposit and Management Fund (CDG) and the German Development Bank (KfW) sealed, on Monday in Frankfurt, a cooperation protocol.

Initialled by CDG’s Director-General, Khalid Safir, and KfW’s Director-General, Stefan Wintels, the agreement outlines the guiding principles and collaboration framework between CDG and KfW, setting the roadmap for their exchanges in the coming months, according to a joint press release from the two institutions.

The new session of the CDG-KfW dialogue, which focused on issues of mutual strategic interest, aims to strengthen the unique relationship between the two institutions and enhance the momentum of their bilateral cooperation and boost it with further ambition, the same source added.

The partnership between CDG and KfW, a leading financial institution dedicated to funding sustainable and innovative projects worldwide, spans a wide range of strategic areas. Strengthening this partnership serves as a key lever for CDG to support and advance ongoing development initiatives, leveraging the legal, financial, and technical tools that shape their bilateral relations, the press release concluded.
