In the 12th edition of the Africa Attractiveness Index 2024 by the Amadeus Institute, Morocco maintains its lead, followed by South Africa, Egypt, Mauritius, and Botswana.
Morocco excels in “Regulation Quality” (82.25) and “Factor Productivity” (77.75), reflecting a strong business environment and skilled workforce.
South Africa ranks high in “Factor Productivity” (80.25) but lags behind Morocco in “Market Potential” (72.00) and “Regulation Quality” (78.00).
Egypt’s strength lies in “Market Potential” (81.00), but it struggles with “Regulation Quality” (69.50). Mauritius stands out with exceptional “Regulation Quality” (83.00) and high “Factor Productivity” (81.00), despite a smaller “Market Potential” (59.00).
Botswana, while stable with a strong “Regulation Quality” (77.75), faces limited “Market Potential” (61.00) due to its small economy.
