Morocco approved for $415 Million from IMF under Resilience and Sustainability Program

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Monday that its executive board approved the second review under Morocco’s “Resilience and Sustainability Facility,” allowing the country to withdraw about $415 million.

The IMF had stated in its first review last May that the Moroccan economy remains resilient despite water scarcity, the Al-Houz earthquake, and challenges posed by external conditions.

The IMF’s forecasts indicate that the real GDP growth rate is expected to rise to 3.5% over the next few years.
