Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development sets 2025 strategy, showcases key 2024 achievements

The Board of Directors of AMDIE, set up Wednesday its new strategic direction for 2025, focusing on key initiatives to drive investment and exports.

Under the leadership of  Karim ZIDANE, Minister Delegate for Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, the meeting reviewed AMDIE’s 2024 achievements, validated the 2025 action plan, and approved the next budget.

A cornerstone of AMDIE’s strategy is the success of the New Investment Charter, which secured 25 billion dirhams in private investment in the first half of 2024.

This includes 64 projects approved by the National Investment Commission, creating 12,900 jobs and boosting Morocco’s position in sectors such as automotive, renewable energy, tourism, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals.

The agency also launched 60 targeted initiatives in 2024, generating over 1,300 business meetings and fostering strategic partnerships to strengthen the national economy.

For exports, AMDIE is focusing on 14 priority markets, including the U.S., France, Germany, and Italy. The EXPORT MOROCCO NOW (2024-2026) program aims to support 337 companies, generate 30 billion dirhams in additional export revenue, and create 20,000 jobs by 2026.
