Aya Gold & Silver’s recent drilling at the Zgounder deposit in Morocco revealed high silver grades. In the central zone, results included 4.645 g/t over 3.5 meters and 6.703 g/t over 2 meters.
The western zone near the granite contact showed 1.151 g/t over 21 meters, including 3.290 g/t Ag over 6 meters. The eastern zone near the open-pit recorded 4.418 g/t over 4 meters.
Aya Gold & Silver has drilled 28,983 meters in 2024, intensifying operations to expand reserves and increase silver production. The Zgounder mine is emerging as one of the region’s most promising deposits.
President Benoit La Salle stated, “The high-grade results, including from the DZG-SF-24-172 hole, show strong continuity of silver mineralization. These findings could boost extraction rates from the open pit and expand resources at Zgounder.” The company expects more results in the coming months as drilling continues.
